The world of live entertainment, events, and performing arts is evolving at a rapid pace. New technologies for digital scenography and storytelling are opening up unprecedented creative possibilities. Are you ready to take the step to high-level applications?

With the Postgraduate Programme Digital Scenography of Tomorrow (collaboration RITCS School of Arts and Lab of Tomorrow), you will quickly get on track and, under expert supervision, break through the initial high wall of high-level digital scenography. You will be rapidly prepared to design and realize complex audiovisual productions.

How the program looks like

The language of instruction for this program is English.

The postgraduate programme comprises 27 credits (ECTS) and consists of seven intensive programme components. These modules can, if desired, also be followed individually as supplementary training.

The program follows a unique blended learning approach, designed for maximum efficiency and depth:

  • Online preparation (approx. 30%): Before the intensive contact moments begin, you will complete asynchronous online sessions. These ensure that you have the necessary foundational knowledge and preparation, allowing us to focus directly on complex subject matter and hands-on application during the practical weeks. You will have access to high-quality digital learning materials.
  • Intensive practical weeks (approx. 70%): The core of the program consists of intensive working weeks and workshops at the state-of-the-art Lab of Tomorrow. Here you will apply the latest technologies under direct and expert guidance from experienced professionals, with a maximum focus on knowledge transfer and practical skills.

To ensure the intensive focus on practical application and personal guidance, we work in small, driven groups of maximum 10 students.

Admission requirements

To be admitted to the Postgraduate Programme Digital Scenography of Tomorrow, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Required Bachelor's degree or Graduate. When you don’t have one, you can enroll and will receive a Lab of Tomorrow Certificate of attendance.
  • Knowledge of the processes and methods used within digital scenography (such as video creation, lighting design, production aspects, etc.). Although we start from the basics of the specific software, some experience with the workflows in this field is a plus.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Positive outcome of the online intake interview. This interview is intended to align your expectations with the program's offerings and ensure a good match.

Study costs

The tuition fee for the full Postgraduate Programme in Digital Scenography of Tomorrow (27 credits, 1 semester) is €19,120.00.

This is an all-inclusive fee, covering all course components, use of state-of-the-art facilities at the Lab of Tomorrow, and food and beverages during the intensive weeks. You only need to bring your own laptop.

How to apply

The postgraduate programme takes one semester to complete. You can register for the following start date: October 2026.

The registration process consists of an initial online sign-up, followed by an online intake interview by appointment. This interview is intended to align your expectations with the programme’s offering and ensure a good match.
