I am Christian Widdascheck, Professor for Aesthetic-Artistic Education in Early Childhood Education at the Alice Salomon Hochschule in Berlin.
Most important in my work as a Professor is engaging students and being engaged with them in explorative artistic processes in which by creating artistic objects new perspectives and understandings about the world and oneself are emerging and evolving. From this intensive work, which the students explore first for themselves, concepts and principles for the practical work with children are developed. For these purposes, the keystones in my seminars, are practical aesthetic-artistic work AND intensive theoretical reflexion.
