40 international students participated in our Welcome Days 2024
Like every year in September, EhB rolls out the red carpet for about 60 international students from 15 different countries. Forty of them participated in the yearly ‘Welcome Days’ on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 September.
The students enjoyed a varied program over the course of these two days. After receiving practical information on topics such as public transport in Brussels and their EhB login, they had the opportunity to get to know each other through introductory games. They were also introduced to Canvas and to student services like BRIK, STUVO and ESN. On Thursday afternoon, they were taken on a guided walking tour of Brussels, followed by a drink with the international coordinators of their programmes.
On Friday, the students visited the Parlamentarium and the European Parliament, attended fun lectures about both historical and contemporary Belgium and Brussels, and wrapped up the two enriching days with a nice drink on a terrace.
Big thanks to all our colleagues whose participation made the Welcome Days a success. We appreciate your dedication in helping our international students feel at home at EhB.
We are excited to welcome this new group of international students and look forward to their contributions to our campuses!
