Bio

Lecturer corporate communication and experienced communications advisor. Focus on reputation management, internal communication, change management. Interested in blended learning and developing education.

My strength is to develop new programs from scratch on (either in education or in communication), preferably in collaboration with companies. I am able to translate company strategy into relevant communications for various audiences. I excel at combining strategic thinking with practical execution. 

Education:
Marijke studied Communication and Political Science at Radboud Nijmegen University (1988-1993). She wrote her thesis for the World Health Organization.

Post university: didactics, marketing, psychology, design thinking, consultancy skills.

Career

Marijke started as communication consultant at Bikker Communication. She counseled clients such as the Dutch Ministry of Economics. She had her own agency in communication and reputation management (2006-2013) and she combined her consultancy work with her work as a lecturer at the University of Applied Science Amsterdam (2006-now). She was founder of the specialization Change Management and Communications and she manages the specialization Reputation Managementand Communication in Public Domain.
