Head of Programme for Biomedical Laboratory Science
I am head of programme for Biomedical Laboratory Science and have been so for quite many years. The volume of the programme is pretty small and that means that I have to do many different things at work.
I teach a lot in many areas of the Clinical laboratory field and handle the practical training at different clinical laboratories as supervising teacher.
I do the practical training courses at school and teach many of basic courses within the field. Preanalytical issues are included in the first basic course and continue to do so in every bioanalytical course.
I am close to the clinical laboratory as I still many summers have been working in a laboratory as a biomedical laboratory scientist.
