Bio

Abdul Kara (1971, economist) came to Inholland University after several years of service to KPN and the Dutch Tax Authorities. At KPN, he has contributed to training programs that relied on marketing and on the impact of emerging technologies on the communication process.

After joining the faculty, he also directed undergraduate and associate degrees at the University, and helps the Faculty of Business Studies with curriculum development. He is also an active participant of the ‘National consultative body for communication’ and ‘The Hague communication platform’ in The Netherlands.

His professional career outside of academia includes his passion for contemporary art.

Outside of professional interests, he travels widely, reads, writes, swims, and enjoys living in The Netherlands with his family and pets.
