Vrijdag 31 mei 2024 organiseren Velov en de lerarenopleidingen van Erasmushogeschool Brussel samen de jaarlijkse Velov-conferentie rond het thema “Een frisse blik op onderwijs: grenzeloos inspirerend”. Voor deze conferentie nodigt Velov, de vereniging van en voor lerarenopleiders, uitdrukkelijk ook andere (onderwijs)professionals uit om mee vooruit te kijken. De uitdagingen van lerarenopleiders staan immers niet los van die van leraren op andere onderwijsniveaus, noch van die van inspecteurs en professionals in het flankerend (onderwijs)beleid.
Hoewel we hoofdzakelijk op een Nederlandstalig programma en onderwijspubliek mikken, nodigen we ook partners van over de taal- en landsgrenzen uit. We rekenen dus eens te meer op zowel welgekomen input vanuit naburige Waalse en Nederlandse partners als van intercontinentale inspiratie die we met de steun van VVOB tot bij ons kunnen krijgen. De conferentiecommissie nodigt je van harte uit om een actieve bijdrage aan de Velov-conferentie 2024 te leveren.
Tot en met woensdag 17 januari 2024 kun je binnen vier inhoudelijke lijnen abstracts indienen via het onderstaand online formulier. Lees hier alles over de inhoudelijke themalijnen en de mogelijke presentatievormen. Vernoemde document geeft eerst een overzicht van de topics binnen de vier inhoudelijke themalijnen, vervolgens een lijst van mogelijke presentatievormen en de concrete informatie die elk voorstel moet bevatten. We geven tot slot toelichting bij de beoordelingscriteria en het tijdspad.

Friday 31 May 2024 Velov and the teacher training courses of Erasmus University College Brussels are jointly organising the annual Velov conference on the theme "A fresh look at education: boundlessly inspiring".
For this conference, Velov, the association of and for teacher educators, explicitly invites other (education) professionals to join in looking ahead. After all, the challenges of teacher educators are not separate from those of teachers at other educational levels, nor from those of inspectors and professionals in flanking (educational) policy. Although we mainly aim at a Dutch-speaking programme and teaching audience, we also invite partners from across the language and national borders. Once again, we count on welcome input from neighbouring Walloon and Dutch partners as well as intercontinental inspiration that we can bring to us with the support of VVOB.
The conference committee cordially invites you to make an active contribution to the Velov Conference 2024. Until Wednesday 17 January 2024, you can submit abstracts within four content lines. English-speaking candidates may submit their abstract by completing this document and should be sent to inge.laenen@ehb.be and/or astrid.van.daele@ehb.be. We first give an overview of the topics within the four substantive theme lines, then a list of possible presentation formats and the concrete information each proposal should contain. Finally, we explain the evaluation criteria and timeline.
The conference committee is composed of board members of Velov, representatives of teacher training EhB and board members of the Flemish Forum for Educational Research (VFO).
