Students in Industrial Sciences and Technology study in the borough of Anderlecht at the spacious campus on the Brussels-Charleroi Canal.
The technical laboratories are optimally equipped and the computer facilities are designed for studies at the highest level. The department features some degree programmes that are rare in Flanders, including aviation technology and a master’s degree in urban planning. It is moreover recognised as a CISCO Certified Networking Academy.
Furthermore, there are several studios and auditoria in the buildings on the Nijverheidskaai where musical students can prepare for a career in the media in optimal fashion. These students add a special atmosphere to the campus, as their music exercises are regularly continued in the corridors of the building and dance rehearsals are not always restricted to the confines of the studios.
The student restaurant, with freshly prepared warm and cold meals and an extensive salad bar sees to the inner well-being of the students. Thanks to the re-design of the neighbourhood with green plants and walking paths along the canal, the campus has been able to share in the renewal of this part of Brussels.
A large football field provides a green spot on the campus itself. The metro, which links the university college with the South Station and the city centre, is within walking distance.
