Campus Dansaert is located in the centre of the city, on a pleasant square with a fountain and several outdoor cafes, within walking distance of the Grand Place. It is a new, modern campus, inaugurated in 2006.
Six bachelor’s degree programmes are on offer at this campus: office management, communication management, hotel management, tourism management, recreation management, social work and journalism. An academic master’s degree in journalism is also offered in this building.
The campus is characterised by light and space, as well as the beautiful roof restaurant that affords a panoramic view of Brussels – which is rightly considered the showpiece of this campus.
The Bloemenhofplein, where this campus is located, is particularly scenic and dates from the Middle Ages (the Zespenningenstraat was formerly one of the city gates where toll was collected).
The city centre with shops, restaurants and historic buildings is within walking distance. A major academic landscape with a library, course library, editing rooms and computers forms the heart of the campus.
Campus Dansaert is 500m away from the trendy Dansaertstraat, after which it is named.
